Four times a year, a wooden crate leaves Franconia. We call each shipment a Chapter — because each one is a complete story, not an instalment.
We find the families who have been brewing the same beer in the same valley for two hundred years. We spend time with them. Then we write you a letter about what we found.
Six Bottles
From one or two family breweries. Exclusive brews, made in agreement with us, available nowhere else. Chosen not for style, but for story.
The Keeper's Letter
Twenty pages. Letterpress-printed on laid paper, numbered, signed. A piece of writing about a place, a family, a season. Not tasting notes.
A Wooden Crate
Handmade in Bamberg. Sealed with wax bearing the FCS monogram. Designed to keep. The kind of object you do not throw away.
One Artisan Object
A ceramic cup from the brewer's village. A linen coaster. An engraved opener. Something for your shelf that will outlast the beer.

A short film and an audio letter from the brewer. In the original Franconian dialect, subtitled. Twelve minutes. No marketing.

Franconia is not Bavaria. It is not marked on most maps in the way that counts. It has more breweries per square kilometre than any other region on earth, and most of them have never been written about in English. That is why we are here.
